Nintendo Reveals ‘Mario + Rabbids’ Sequel Ahead of Ubisoft’s E3 Showcase

Update from 06/12/2021 at 4:03 p.m.: As a leak, Ubisoft unveiled Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope at its Forward event during E3. You can read more about the announcement here.

Hours before Ubisoft’s E3 presentation, the company’s big “surprise game” was leaked by Nintendo itself.

The Japanese game company has updated its website with a page detailing Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hopea sequel to 2017 Mario Kingdom Battle + Rabbids. Nintendo has since deleted the page from its website, but Nintendo’s life was able to gather a description and screenshots before the page was taken down. You can read the description below:

Team up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi and their friends on a galactic journey to defeat a malevolent entity and rescue your fellow Sparks. Explore planets across the galaxy while uncovering mysterious secrets and secrets. exciting quests!

– Build your dream team with three heroes from an eclectic roster of nine.
– Take down all new bosses, as well as familiar enemies across the galaxy.
– Save the adorable Sparks across the galaxy, which provide distinct powers to aid you in battle.
– Unleash your heroes’ skills but be strategic as you smash your enemies, team jump on your allies, and hide behind cover.

Further away, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier tweeted that sparks of hope was the Ubisoft surprise game he mentioned on the Triple Click podcast.

Nintendo’s leaked surprise game from Ubisoft certainly undoes some of the hype that preceded the company’s presentation at E3. However, we will probably learn more about sparks of hope during Ubisoft Forward, as well as details on other upcoming Ubisoft titles.

Ubisoft Forward begins June 12 at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT. You can read more about the presentation here or join the event on Youtube Where Tic when it starts this afternoon.
